BE INVOLVED IN YOUR STATE ORGANIZATION... JOIN A MHPCO COMMITTEE

The Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Committees are a critical component of MHPCO, providing leadership, technical service and educational assistance to hospice program members and the public. Serving on MHPCO committees allows members to become an active participant of MHPCO and to assist in the direction of our activities.

MHPCO committees are involved in providing educational direction for annual conferences, support for disciplines, research, benchmarking, publishing and collecting data, while advocating for policy and reimbursement changes. MHPCO offers the opportunity to serve on any of the following committees: Education Committee, Public and Member Relations Committee, Reimbursement Committee, Quality & Regulations Committee, Legislative Committee and the Executive committee.

Any program, individual, associate or volunteer member of MHPCO may serve on committees. Committees are chaired by Board members, approved by the MHPCO Board of Directors. Committee chairs and the President and CEO of MHPCO approve committee membership.
